Getting much older!
So this blog post was originally posted about 6 months after I got the two dogs. I’m sure you can realise that at this point the small empress Labradors were much, much older and quite a lot more bigger. In fact, the dogs are almost human sized so I am sure that it is safe to say they are basically the dog version of adults. But I will say, the fur of the dogs at this point are really amazing. Not only has the fur really outgrown the dogs original size, but once you wash the dogs the fur becomes really soft and really fun to play with. In fact, I would say that the fur on the dogs is a lot better than the hair of certain people! The dogs are actually really large now, but strangely enough I have actually not been bothered to measure them by length. But either way, the dogs are massive now and they have become really cute. I will say however though that the dogs are unmanageable at this size. The fact that the dogs are so large is actually a really bad thing since I allow the dogs to stay in the house. It really is just waiting for them to destroy the carpets on the floor and really damage the furniture within my home.
Another thing I will say that the older the dogs get, the more they misbehave. I think dogs as an animal realise that because they are much larger, they can get away with a bit more. I think it probably comes from the animal kingdom type of thinking and behaviour, but either way I have begun really telling the dogs off once I feel like they are misbehaving. They really are becoming way too naughty and the odd yell or pulling food away does nothing for empress Labradors.
The good thing about having Empress Labradors however is that they are really really liked on TV. It seems that the main type of dogs that get television roles or commercial roles is because of how cute they are when you are looking at them from afar in the best way possible. They are often seen on TV and they are often get a few decent roles. I do hear that they are basically the dog version of models. In fact, some one explained to me that people in Hollywood or people who make films that involve animals regularly look for these types of dogs, and you can make good money from it. I don’t know how I would feel about plastering my dogs everywhere to make some money, but as a think I am not sure that it is entirely bad. Since we feed and take care of the animals every day, making the money to feed and take care of them from the dogs being on commercials and stuff isn’t that bad. It basically pays their way and I don’t think that the work is difficult or intensive for the animals. It just takes training and I am not entirely sure that the dogs are ready for it.
Anyways, I hope you guys checked out my last blog posts and really enjoyed them, but I hope you enjoy the rest of the blog posts too!
