Cutest dogs around!
I spoke last week about just how cute my dogs are, and I figure that I may as well just continue this blog about that theme! I actually just recently realised that this blog was originally created for the small Empress Labradors on Smallville the TV show. I actually made a small joke about it in my last blog post too. It turns out that the name of the domain that I bought was designed for those dogs, when for me I actually bought the name because I couldn’t think of anything better than just “my dogs”. There is also a little joke in my house that my husband is Superman so it also made sense for me to make the name Smallvilles Empress Labradors since that is what we jokingly call our home. It’s actually very weird that they are connected and I wasn’t really expecting it but it is a pleasant surprise! But anyway, my dogs have started to grow up a bit more. They are getting bigger by the day but they really are getting much cuter. The best thing about Labradors is that the bigger they get the more lovable and cuter that they get! My dogs are also getting really furry now so it’s becoming a bit of a mess to take care off! They are just shedding everywhere and I’m finding hairs in my bed and on my sofa.
The dogs are actually much larger than I would have expected them to be right now. They are over a month old so I still expected them to be the size of large puppies but they are already becoming bigger than ordinary dogs! Because they are different colours too I’m finding all sorts of hairs around the place. I am actually starting to get confused that they might be my hairs they are so long! The dogs absolutely love my husband though and they always follow him around the house after they have been fed. They seem to also match his mood too which is common with dogs. If you feel low or if you are excited the dogs always match that mood. They run around the house when they are happy and excited which can get really annoying though! When you have, what may as well be little monsters just clawing and running around the house and they are impossible to stop it can get really frustrating but since they don’t really know better for the most part there isn’t really much you can say.
The dogs are cute as hell though and I can’t stop saying that! I will say that when we are walking the dogs people love to stroke or pet them because they are very approachable. That is one of the best things about having an empress Labrador, since you have to train them to be bad animals that are aggressive. For the most part they are very docile and passive and usually they will not attack animals or humans. They are animals you can really trust to leave to themselves and know that they will not hurt or damage anything or anyone which is something that is really good to note. It would be awful to have to put dogs down or punish them but luckily, they know better
Anyway, I don’t really have much to say about the dogs right now so I am going to keep these blogs relatively short. It is just nice to see them grow up and get older, especially when they are such nice animals. The kids also really love the dogs and they really get on with them, so it’s nice to see that we picked the right animals. The Labradors are also only going to get older, and hopefully they can live long enough so that the kids can grow up with them. It would be heart-breaking for the kids to see the dogs eventually grow old, so we are just trying to enjoy them now while they are young since they are obviously not going to live forever.
